This horizontal backwater valve with a chimney of 16 inches extension is made of ABS plastic. It has a 3 inch Hub x 3 inch FPT connection and measures 7-1/2 inches length x 21-3/18 inches height. The valve meets the ASTM D-2661 and ASTM D-2665 standards. It features smooth walls and rounded corners to prevent the accumulation of solid waste. The valve is installed in drainage fixtures on the lowest floor and used with laundry tubs, washing machines, dishwashers and floor drains.
